There are numerous ways to save time and improve the
number of hits your site receives. Here are some of the

Meta Tags. Meta Tags are used by many
search engines to index pages. Put them between the
<head></head> tags on your page. Copy and paste
the following tags into your site.

<meta
name="Description" content="Enter your description here.
Again, match the words to your content to make them
count">
<meta name="Keywords"
content="enter,keywords,lik,this,no,spaces,you,can,use,a
phrase like this,instead,of,individual,words">
Optimise content. If you offer cheap widgets make sure you say
plenty about cheap widgets in the content of your
page. Some search engines use this method rather than meta tags
to index pages. Check out the first paragraph on the home
page on this site. Remember, the site is about web
hosting and virtual servers. There are over 10 relevent words in that
small paragraph.
Code re-use. Once you've
developed a site don't bother creating an entirely new one.
Just change the colors, fonts and some of the graphics and
you'll have a new site. Once you change the content
nobody will realize they are based on the same HTML. Many
professional web developers use this method to save time. The
easiest way to make a big change is to alter the background
color.
Spelling mistakes. Add a common spelling
mistake to your keywords. If you sell books try mazon, if you
program operating systems try icrosoft.
